Before you pay for a shoutout

Fanvue promotion pricing and what paid promotion costs per subscriber

Fanvue does not sell ads, so every paid promotion for your page comes from someone outside it: a Fiverr seller, a promo page, an agency. They all quote a price per post. Here is how to turn that into a price per paying subscriber before you spend it.

$7.99

What a $9.99 Fanvue subscriber is worth to you each month after the 20% fee.

The short answer

Paid Fanvue promotion costs from about $10 for a Fiverr gig to $100 to $400 for one shoutout on a large promo page, and agencies take 20% to 50% of revenue instead. Fanvue itself sells no ads; its own promotions cost only the discount you give. Because Fanvue keeps 20% after your first month, a $9.99 subscriber is worth $7.99 a month, so a $200 shoutout has to bring 26 subscribers who stay one month, or 9 who stay three, before it makes a cent. Buy one post at a time, measure the subscribers it brings, and stop the moment the cost per subscriber is higher than what a subscriber earns you.

Fanvue paid promotion prices

What sellers charge to promote a Fanvue page

Search for Fanvue paid promotion and you find six kinds of offer. None of them is sold by Fanvue, and none prices by the subscriber. The ranges come from public listings and seller pages, so treat them as the going rate rather than a quote.

What you buy Typical price What it usually means
Fiverr promotion gigs From about $10 Usually your link posted in Telegram or Discord groups. Cheap enough to test, rarely US buyers.
Promo-page contact lists $5 to $40 A spreadsheet of pages that sell shoutouts. You still pay each page separately.
Shoutout on a promo page $100 to $400 a post One post on a large X, Reddit or Instagram account. Audience quality varies wildly.
Discord and Telegram promo groups Small fee or swap Mostly other creators promoting to each other. Few paying fans in the room.
Flat-fee marketing service Often from about $500 a month Daily posting done for you. You still run the inbox.
Management agency A share of revenue, 20% to 50% Promotion plus chatting and pricing. Check whether the share is on gross or net.

The cheapest rows are cheap for a reason. A link dropped into a Telegram group of other creators reaches people who are selling, not buying. The expensive rows can work, but only if the audience behind the page is real and in a country where fans pay. Ask any seller for proof of past results, and ask where their followers live, before you send money.

The cost per subscriber of a paid Fanvue shoutout

The price of a post means nothing until you divide it by the subscribers it brought. Read across a row to see what each paying fan cost you. Give every paid post its own link so you can count them, otherwise you are guessing.

Promotion price 5 new subs 10 new subs 25 new subs 50 new subs
$50 $10.00 $5.00 $2.00 $1.00
$100 $20.00 $10.00 $4.00 $2.00
$200 $40.00 $20.00 $8.00 $4.00
$400 $80.00 $40.00 $16.00 $8.00

How many subscribers it takes to break even

Now flip it around. Break-even subscribers = promotion price / (subscription price x 0.8 x months the subscriber stays), rounded up. The 0.8 is what you keep after Fanvue's standard 20%. In your very first month on Fanvue the fee is 15%, so a $9.99 subscriber is worth $8.49 then, but most subscribers you pay for will be billing after that month.

Promotion price $9.99 sub, stays 1 month $9.99 sub, stays 3 months $14.99 sub, stays 1 month $14.99 sub, stays 3 months
$50 7 3 5 2
$100 13 5 9 3
$200 26 9 17 6
$400 51 17 34 12

The months column is where most creators win or lose. A subscriber who renews twice is worth three times as much, which cuts the break-even by two thirds. Renewals come from the inbox: a quick welcome, a reply to every message, and a paid message offered at the right moment. If you cannot be there at 2 a.m. when US fans are awake, an AI that answers fan DMs or a chat team keeps the new fans you paid for from going cold. We cover the human version in Fanvue chatter agency cost.

Fanvue promotion tools and what each discount gives away

Fanvue's built-in promotions do not cost money upfront. They cost a slice of each new subscriber's payment instead, and you can set them in your subscription settings in a few minutes. There are three that matter.

Free trial links

A link that gives a new fan a trial period before the first charge. On a $9.99 page you give away the whole first month, $7.99 of net per fan, and some trial fans cancel before paying anything.

Discounted first month

Aimed at all fans, new fans, expired fans or followers. A 25% discount on $9.99 gives away $2.00 of net per subscriber, and 50% gives away $4.00. Win-back offers to expired fans are usually the cheapest subscribers you will ever get.

Multi-month bundles

3, 6 or 12 months paid upfront, up to 50% off. A three-month bundle at 50% off a $9.99 page gives away $11.99 of net, but you get the cash now and the fan cannot cancel after month one.

Compare these with a paid shoutout on the same terms. If a $200 post brings 10 subscribers, each one cost you $20.00. A 50% first-month discount to followers who already know you costs $4.00 per subscriber. Discounts convert people already on your page, shoutouts bring new people to it, so you need both, but the discount should always come first. The fee side of all this is in how much Fanvue takes, and the same shoutout math for Fansly, with a calculator, is on our Fansly promotion service page.

Fanvue promotion rules that can cost you the account

Never take payment off Fanvue

Fanvue's creator terms ban asking for or accepting payment outside the platform and promoting external payment links. A promoter who pushes fans to pay you somewhere else is putting your payouts at risk, not growing them.

Follow each platform's own rules

External promotion has to respect Reddit, X and Instagram rules and must not mislead fans about what they will get. Bought followers and coordinated fake engagement break those rules and get the promoting account banned.

Tag paid and affiliate posts

When you promote another creator for a fee or a referral, Fanvue expects the post to be marked as an ad or sponsored. Swap groups that hide paid placements create the same problem.

Keep your login to yourself

No promotion needs your password. Anyone who asks for it can change your payout details. A real agency works through shared access and never touches your bank information.

If paid promotion still looks like a gamble, it usually is when nobody is running the rest of the page. That is the case for full management: one share of what you actually receive, covering promotion, chatting and pricing together. Our Fanvue agency page shows how it works and what it costs, and OnlyFans promo accounts runs the shoutout numbers for creators on both platforms.

Fanvue paid promotion questions

Does Fanvue have paid promotion?

Fanvue does not sell ads or sponsored placement to creators. Its promotion tools are built into your settings and cost only the discount you give: free trial links, discounted first months aimed at new, expired or following fans, and multi-month bundles up to 50% off. Paid promotion for a Fanvue page is bought from outside sellers, promo pages or agencies.

How much does Fanvue promotion cost?

Outside sellers charge from about $10 for a Fiverr gig to $100 to $400 for one shoutout on a large promo page. Flat-fee marketing services often start around $500 a month, and management agencies take 20% to 50% of revenue. Fanvue's own promotions cost nothing upfront but give away part of each new subscriber's first payment.

Is paid promotion on Fanvue worth it?

It is worth it when the cost per paying subscriber is lower than what a subscriber earns you. Fanvue keeps 20% after your first month, so a $9.99 subscriber is worth $7.99 a month. A $200 shoutout needs 26 subscribers who stay a month, or 9 who stay three months, to pay for itself.

How do I promote my Fanvue page?

Post daily on Reddit and X within each platform's rules, put your Fanvue link in every bio, and use a free trial link or a discounted first month to convert followers. Reply to new subscribers fast, because promotion only pays if fans renew. Buy paid shoutouts last, one at a time, and judge each by cost per subscriber.

Can I promote Fanvue on Reddit?

Yes. Reddit is one of the largest sources of paying fans for Fanvue creators. Each subreddit sets its own rules on verification, posting frequency and links, so read them before posting. Fanvue's rules also apply: never ask fans to pay outside Fanvue or post external payment links.

Are Fiverr Fanvue promotion gigs legit?

Some are honest but small, and many deliver little. A $10 gig usually means your link is dropped in Telegram or Discord groups full of other creators rather than buyers. Avoid any gig that promises a fixed number of followers or subscribers, since bought accounts break platform rules and never pay.

How much does Fanvue take from creators?

Fanvue keeps 15% of your earnings in your first month on the platform and 20% after that. Use the 80% figure when you judge paid promotion, because most subscribers you buy will pay you after that first month. A $14.99 subscription is worth $11.99 a month to you at the standard rate.
