Most paid Fansly promotion is sold by the post, not by the subscriber, so you only find out what it cost after the money is gone. Test any shoutout in the calculator first. Or let us run your promotion every day for 20% of what you net.

New subscribers
Cost per subscriber
Profit after cost
Each subscriber earns you over that time, so this promotion needs paying subscribers to break even. At your numbers it pays for itself. At your numbers it loses money.
Net per subscriber is subscription price x 0.8 x months kept. Tips and paid messages are left out, which makes paid promotion look worse than it is when an inbox is worked well, and better than it is when nobody answers.
Fansly promotion is either your time or your money. Done yourself on the For You page, Reddit and X, it costs nothing in fees but one to three hours of posting a day. Paid, it ranges from about $10 for a Fiverr gig to $100 to $400 for one shoutout on a big promo page. Fansly keeps 20%, so a $9.99 subscriber is worth $7.99 a month, and a $200 shoutout needs 26 new subscribers who stay a month, or 9 who stay three months, to break even. FansPromo runs the daily promotion and the inbox for 20% of net, with nothing paid upfront.
Fansly gives you more help than most platforms. Its For You page and Suggestions show your posts to people who have never seen you, and every account comes with built-in tracking links for FYP, Suggestions and Search traffic. That is a real head start. It is still not enough on its own, because most paying fans arrive from outside the platform.
The six channels below are the ones creators actually use. The first four cost time. The last two cost money, and that is where most people lose it, because they pay for posts instead of subscribers.
No fee, costs posting time
Fansly is one of the few creator platforms with real in-app discovery. Opt eligible posts into the FYP, tag your profile accurately and keep free previews on locked media. Followers you win here still have to be converted to paid, which is an inbox job.
Costs the discount you give
A public, time-limited price on a tier, a multi-month plan, or a private discount link with its own percentage, length and redemption cap. Followers are notified when a promotion starts. Cheap to run, but every discounted month is revenue you gave away.
No fee, 1 to 3 hours a day
Still the biggest source of new paying fans for most adult creators. Each subreddit has its own rules on verification, posting frequency and links, and breaking them gets the account banned. It works when someone posts daily and reads the rules first.
No fee, daily posting
Labeled adult content is allowed in posts, not in your profile photo or header, and X ads do not accept adult content at all. Growth comes from posting, replies and retweet groups, which is slow and steady rather than fast.
$100 to $400 a post, some from $5
You pay a large account to post you once. Some deliver, many sell recycled or bot audiences. Without a tracking link per page you cannot tell which is which, so the price per subscriber is a guess until you measure it.
Gigs from about $10
Fiverr lists around 70 Fansly promotion gigs. The cheap ones usually mean posting your link in Telegram or Discord groups. Treat anything that promises a fixed number of followers as a red flag, because bought followers break platform rules and do not pay.
The time-based channels compound when the same clip goes out everywhere in the right format for each platform. A content repurposing tool saves hours on that part of the week. The channel-by-channel playbooks are in our guides to Reddit promotion and X promotion run by an agency, and they apply to Fansly the same way.
Sellers quote a price per post. What you need is a price per paying subscriber, and the number of subscribers that gets you back to zero. The formula is short.
Break-even subscribers = promotion price / (subscription price x 0.8 x months kept)
A $200 shoutout on a $9.99 page: $200 / $7.99 = 25.03, so 26 subscribers who stay one month. If they stay three months, each is worth $23.98 and you need 9.
| Promotion | $9.99 sub, 1 mo | $9.99, 3 mo | $14.99, 1 mo | $14.99, 3 mo | $19.99, 1 mo | $19.99, 3 mo |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $10 gig | 2 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
| $50 shoutout | 7 | 3 | 5 | 2 | 4 | 2 |
| $100 shoutout | 13 | 5 | 9 | 3 | 7 | 3 |
| $200 shoutout | 26 | 9 | 17 | 6 | 13 | 5 |
| $400 shoutout | 51 | 17 | 34 | 12 | 26 | 9 |
Two things move these numbers more than the price does. The first is how long a subscriber stays: going from one month to three cuts the break-even by about two thirds. The second is whether anyone is in your messages when the new fans arrive. A subscriber who is welcomed within the hour and offered the right paid message is often worth more than the subscription itself, and one who gets silence cancels before renewal. That is why a shoutout bought by a creator who answers DMs twice a week rarely pays, and the same shoutout on a worked inbox often does. Our promo accounts price guide runs the same numbers for OnlyFans shoutouts.
You shoot. We do everything that turns a clip into paying subscribers, on Fansly and off it, and we only earn when you do.
We set up your tiers, profile tags and free previews so FYP visitors land on a page that converts, and give each channel its own tracking link.
Reddit, X and short video every day, inside each platform's rules. No bought followers, no spam, nothing that puts your accounts at risk.
Time-limited prices and discount links timed to convert followers you already have, limited to new fans so loyal subscribers keep paying full price.
Trained chatters welcome every new subscriber and sell paid messages, so the fans promotion brings in stay past the first month.
| Option | How you pay | Who works the inbox | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Do it yourself | 1 to 3 hours a day | You | Creators with time and a small page |
| Shoutouts and promo pages | $100 to $400 a post, upfront | You | Testing one channel with a tracking link |
| Fiverr promotion gigs | From about $10, upfront | You | Small experiments you can afford to lose |
| Flat-fee marketing service | A monthly retainer, often from about $500 | Usually you | Established pages with steady revenue |
| FansPromo | 20% of net, nothing upfront | Our chatters | Creators who want promotion and sales handled together |
A flat fee is cheaper once your page earns enough, and we say so openly: at a 20% share, a $1,000 retainer costs the same as us at $5,000 a month in net. Below that, a percentage costs you less, and in a slow month it costs you almost nothing. The full comparison is on our Fansly agency page, and the platform's own cut is broken down in how much Fansly takes.
Nobody can guarantee real subscribers. A fixed follower number almost always means bots or engagement groups, which break platform rules and never pay.
Promotion does not need your login. Anyone who asks for it can lock you out of your own page and your payouts. Shared access tools exist for this reason.
Fansly's terms forbid paid ads that impersonate Fansly, and most ad networks refuse adult offers anyway. A seller promising Google or Meta ads for your page is risking your account.
If an offer passes those three checks, buy one post, give it its own tracking link, and wait a week before judging it. Our guide to spotting a legit agency covers the same checks for full management deals.
Fansly promotion costs nothing in fees if you do it yourself on the For You page, Reddit and X, but it takes one to three hours a day. Paid options run from about $10 for a Fiverr gig to $100 to $400 for a single shoutout on a large promo page. A management agency like ours takes 20% of net instead of an upfront price.
Only if it brings enough paying subscribers to cover its price. Fansly keeps 20%, so a $9.99 subscriber is worth $7.99 a month to you. A $200 shoutout needs 26 subscribers who stay one month, or 9 who stay three months, just to break even. Measure every paid post with its own tracking link before buying a second one.
Opt posts into the For You page, tag your profile accurately, and keep free previews on locked media. Off Fansly, post daily on Reddit and X with a separate tracking link for each channel, run a time-limited promotion when you have new followers to convert, and reply to every new subscriber fast. Paid shoutouts come last, once you know what a subscriber is worth.
Yes, partly. Fansly has a For You page, Suggestions and Search, and posts you opt in can be shown to people who do not follow you yet. That is more in-app discovery than OnlyFans offers. It does not replace outside promotion, though, and followers who find you there still need a reason to pay.
Yes, and for most creators Reddit is the largest source of paying fans. Read each subreddit's rules before posting, since many require verification, limit how often you post and ban direct links. Use a Fansly tracking link in your Reddit profile so you can see how many subscribers Reddit actually sends.
Some are, most are not, and you cannot tell in advance. Ask for proof of past results, check that the page's followers are real people in the US, and buy one post with its own tracking link. If the cost per subscriber is higher than what a subscriber earns you, do not buy a second post.
The FYP is Fansly's For You page, a discovery feed that shows posts to users who do not follow you. Creators can opt eligible posts into it. Fansly gives you a built-in tracking link for FYP traffic, so you can see how many follows and subscriptions it brings compared with Reddit or X.
Fansly keeps 20% and pays creators 80% of subscriptions, tips and paid messages. That 20% matters for promotion math: every subscriber is worth 80% of the price you set, so a $14.99 subscription brings you $11.99 a month. Use the net figure, not the sticker price, when you judge any paid promotion.
FansPromo runs your Fansly promotion every day and covers your messages with trained chatters, so the fans we bring in actually pay. We take 20% of net, there is nothing to pay upfront, and you never hand over your password. You get co-manager access, your payouts go straight to you, and your content stays yours.
Also on OnlyFans or Fanvue? We manage those too. See OnlyFans promotion service and Fanvue agency, then apply once for all of them.
