OnlyFans video call price: video call rates, what a call costs per minute and what to charge

Published rates run from $5 to $35 a finished minute. That is a seven times spread on one minute of the same creator time, which tells you the per minute number is not what decides the price. The minimum length is. Here is the arithmetic behind that, and what calls really pay per hour.

A 15 minute call at $8 a minute pays about $165 an hour

It nets $96 for roughly 35 minutes of real work. The same rate on a 5 minute call pays $76.80 an hour. The rate did not change, the fixed time did.

OnlyFans has no video call feature

The call runs on an outside app. The payment still has to be collected on OnlyFans, upfront, as a locked message or a tip, before any link is shared.

Taking payment upfront is worth 25% at a 20% no-show rate

Every guide says collect first and none of them price it. Paid afterwards, one booking in five simply evaporates and takes the slot with it.

The short answer

One to one video calls on OnlyFans are commonly priced between $5 and $35 a minute, with $8 to $10 the usual starting point for a new creator and a 15 minute minimum attached to it. OnlyFans keeps a flat 20% of whatever the fan pays, so a 15 minute call at $8 bills $120 and nets $96. The platform has no video call feature of its own, so the call itself happens on Zoom, Google Meet, Discord, Snapchat or FaceTime while the payment is collected on OnlyFans upfront as a locked pay per view message or a tip. Judged per hour rather than per minute, calls are by far the best paid thing most creators sell, but only above a minimum length: the same $8 rate pays $76.80 an hour on a 5 minute booking and $230.40 an hour on a 30 minute one.

The fact that changes how you price this

OnlyFans does not host video calls. It never has. The only live video the platform offers is OnlyFans Live, which streams one way from you out to your subscribers and has no return feed. Every creator selling one to one calls is running them somewhere else, most often Zoom, Google Meet, Discord, Snapchat or FaceTime, and that single fact drives most of the pricing decisions on this page.

It matters because the money and the service are separated. The call has to leave the platform. The payment must not. Selling a call means agreeing the length and price in messages, sending a locked pay per view message or a tip request for the full amount, waiting for it to clear, and only then sharing the link and the time. Creators who take payment outside OnlyFans lose the transaction record, the dispute process and the message thread that proves what was agreed, and put the account itself at risk. The 20% buys all of that, which is a reasonable trade on a high value booking.

One caveat on freshness. A single outlet reported in late August 2026 that unreleased code for a native paid video call feature had been spotted in the OnlyFans web app. OnlyFans has not announced it, no second source has confirmed it, and nothing about it is visible to creators today, so treat it as a rumor rather than a plan. Price for the platform as it works right now, and revisit the structure if a first party feature actually ships.

What published guides quote, and how far apart they are

These are the bands that actually appear in creator management guides, gathered on 2026-09-07 and left in conflict rather than averaged. The spread is the useful part. When independent sources price the same minute anywhere from $5 to $35, the honest conclusion is that the minute is not the thing being priced.

Band Quoted per minute What sits behind the number
Standard per minute rate $5 to $10 The most widely repeated band, usually given with no minimum length attached, which is what makes it misleading on short calls.
Common starting rate for a new creator $8 to $10 Quoted alongside a 15 minute minimum. The minimum is doing more work here than the rate is.
Mid tier, longer sessions $15 to $20 Attached to a 20 minute minimum in the tiered rate cards. Sold as a longer, more involved session rather than a quick call.
Top tier, scripted or themed $22 to $35 Attached to a 30 minute minimum. This is the high end of anything published and it assumes real preparation before the call.
Whole spread, same product $5 to $35 A seven times spread on one minute of the same creator time. Per minute alone clearly is not the unit that decides the price.

One correction worth making, because the figure gets repeated. Several guides describe a 15 minute call at $8 to $10 a minute as earning "$120 to $150 per call after platform fees." Those are the gross numbers. Fifteen minutes at $8 is $120 billed and $96 kept; at $10 it is $150 billed and $120 kept. The 20% has not been taken off. Anyone pricing from that sentence is planning around a fifth more money than will arrive.

What a call really pays per hour at $8 a minute

A live call is the one thing a creator sells where a delivered minute costs exactly one worked minute. There is no filming, no retakes, no editing and no export. But there is still fixed time around every booking: screening the fan, agreeing a slot, the tech check beforehand and the wrap up afterwards. The model below charges 20 fixed minutes per call on top of the call itself. Your own number will differ. The shape will not.

Call length Fan pays at $8 a minute You keep after 20% Real time spent Effective hourly rate
5 minutes $40.00 $32.00 25 minutes $76.80
10 minutes $80.00 $64.00 30 minutes $128.00
15 minutes $120.00 $96.00 35 minutes $164.57
20 minutes $160.00 $128.00 40 minutes $192.00
30 minutes $240.00 $192.00 50 minutes $230.40
45 minutes $360.00 $288.00 65 minutes $265.85
60 minutes $480.00 $384.00 80 minutes $288.00

The last column is the one nobody publishes, and it explains the 15 minute minimum better than any advice about perceived value. A 5 minute call at $8 pays $76.80 an hour. The same rate over 30 minutes pays $230.40, three times as much for identical work per minute. The fixed 20 minutes does not shrink when the booking does, so a short call spends most of its billed value paying for the admin around it. Setting a minimum is not a negotiating posture. It is the point below which the overhead eats the booking.

What taking payment upfront is actually worth

Calls are the only creator service booked for a specific moment, which makes them the only one exposed to no-shows. A fan who stops answering an hour before the slot costs you the slot whether or not they ever paid. Paid upfront, that is all it costs. Paid afterwards, the booking is worth nothing and the time is gone anyway. Every guide says collect first; none of them price it, so here is the number.

If this share of bookings vanishes Paid afterwards, you keep Upfront payment is worth
10% no-show 90% plus 11.1%
20% no-show 80% plus 25.0%
30% no-show 70% plus 42.9%
40% no-show 60% plus 66.7%

The premium is simply one divided by the share that shows up. At a 20% no-show rate, collecting the money before you share the link earns you exactly 25% more per booked hour than collecting it afterwards, on the same calendar and the same rate card. That is a bigger swing than most creators would get from raising their per minute price, and it costs nothing to implement. For long sessions a split works too: half to confirm the slot, the rest at the halfway mark.

Why calls pay so much better than custom videos

Put the two side by side at the same headline rate and the gap is startling. At $8 a minute, a 10 minute custom video works out to roughly $33 an hour once filming, retakes, editing, export and delivery are counted. A 30 minute call at the same $8 a minute pays $230.40 an hour. That is very nearly seven times more for a rate card that looks identical from the outside.

The whole difference is the ratio of worked minutes to delivered minutes. A finished minute of custom video takes several minutes to produce and sits behind about 45 minutes of fixed handling per order. A minute of live call takes one minute and sits behind roughly 20. Nothing about the fan experience explains the gap; it is entirely a production cost that the per minute price hides. If you already sell customs, the numbers behind that side are worked through in full on our OnlyFans custom video price guide, including the two part price that fixes small orders.

The practical conclusion is not to drop customs. It is that calls are underpriced on most rate cards relative to the effort they take, and that a creator with limited hours should fill the call slots first. Calls also cap out harder: they need a scheduled hour, so they do not scale past a few a week, which is exactly why the hourly rate on them should be high. Where the two meet is the menu, and putting both on one sheet with deliberate gaps between the lines is the job the OnlyFans price list does.

How to set your own call price

Work backwards from an hourly number instead of forwards from a per minute one. Decide what an hour of your scheduled, face visible, real time attention is worth, then divide by 0.8 so the figure survives the commission, then set a minimum length long enough that the fixed 20 minutes is not eating the booking. At a $150 an hour target with a 15 minute minimum, that is a $62.50 minimum booking plus $3.13 a minute, so a 15 minute call bills $109.38 and keeps $87.50. Most creators round that up rather than down once they see how few of these they can physically deliver in a week.

Then price the things that make a call expensive to deliver separately. A themed or scripted call needs preparation before the slot, and preparation is unpaid time unless you bill it. A call at 2am costs a night of sleep. A call that requires a specific outfit costs whatever the outfit costs plus the setup. Charging a flat per minute rate for all of these is the same mistake as a flat rate for every custom, and it quietly selects for the requests you least want.

Screening deserves as much attention as the price. A live call is the most exposing thing you can sell: your face, your voice and your room, unedited and in real time, to somebody you have only met in messages. Read their history before agreeing a slot, keep the calling account separate from anything personal, and use a plain background. Because your face is on screen, it is also worth knowing what is already findable about you elsewhere, and getting your details pulled off the people search sites is a sensible thing to have done before you start taking bookings rather than after something goes wrong. The wider protection checklist is on our OnlyFans content protection page.

Finally, treat the calendar as the constraint it is. Call revenue is capped by the number of slots you will actually sit for, which means the lever is price and minimum length, not volume. Two well priced calls a week beat five badly priced ones and leave time to make the content that keeps the list subscribed in the first place. If bookings are the bottleneck rather than the rate, the problem is upstream: how many people see the offer at all, which is what our notes on OnlyFans DM strategy and the tip menu are for.

OnlyFans video call pricing, answered

Does OnlyFans have a video call feature?

No. OnlyFans has never shipped a two way video call. The closest built in feature is OnlyFans Live, which streams one way from you to your subscribers. Creators who sell one to one calls run them on an outside app such as Zoom, Google Meet, Discord, Snapchat or FaceTime, and collect the money on OnlyFans first.

How much do you charge for video calls on OnlyFans?

Published guides put one to one calls between $5 and $35 a minute, with $8 to $10 the usual starting point for a new creator and a 15 minute minimum attached. At $8 a minute a 15 minute call bills the fan $120 and nets you $96 after the flat 20% commission.

How do OnlyFans video calls work?

You agree the length and price in messages, send a locked pay per view message or a tip request for the full amount, wait for it to be paid, then share the call link and the time. The call itself happens on an outside app because OnlyFans does not host one, and the payment stays on OnlyFans.

Are OnlyFans video calls safe?

They carry more exposure than any other paid line, because your face, voice and background are live and unedited. The standard precautions are a work only account on the calling app, a plain background with nothing identifying in it, no real name, and screening the fan through their message history before you agree to a time.

Does OnlyFans take a cut of video calls?

Yes, the same flat 20% it takes from subscriptions, tips, bundles and pay per view. Because the payment is collected as a pay per view message or a tip, it is treated exactly like any other paid message. A $200 call pays you $160, so quote the gross rather than the figure you want to keep.

What is a good minimum length for a video call?

Fifteen minutes is the figure most rate cards use, and the arithmetic supports it. At $8 a minute a 5 minute call pays about $77 an hour once the screening, scheduling and tech check are counted, while a 15 minute call at the same rate pays about $165. The minimum, not the rate, is what protects short bookings.

Can you get paid outside OnlyFans for a video call?

You can be paid off platform, but it puts the account at risk and removes every protection you have. Keeping the payment on OnlyFans costs the 20% and buys you a payment record, a dispute process and a message thread proving what was agreed. The call moves off platform because it has to; the money does not.

If your call rate looks low against the hourly table above, it almost certainly is, and it is the easiest line on the whole menu to reprice because so few fans are buying it that nobody will notice the change. The same exercise across every other line is how much to charge on OnlyFans, and the message side of selling a scheduled call is covered in OnlyFans PPV pricing, since the locked message is how the money actually arrives.
