One pattern worth naming, because it catches careful people. A rejected release form is a paperwork problem and stays one. Records required to be maintained under this part shall be segregated from all other records, shall not contain any other records, and shall not be contained within any other records.
That last one is a genuinely practical instruction and almost nobody follows it. Performer records have to be segregated from all other records, which means they do not live in the same folder as your invoices, your tax paperwork or your content archive. A separate encrypted folder, or a locked physical file, holding nothing else. It takes ten minutes to set up once and it is the difference between having records and having a mess.
